A container that fails to conceal its contents, this work addresses the radical opacity of modern containerisation and its role in driving commodification and enabling exploitation. The inclusion of the olive tree as a material of the work becomes inseparable from contemporary geopolitical violence, particularly the destruction and weaponisation of agricultural land within the conflict in Palestine.
